About the event
In 2025 the Royal New Zealand Ballet will present a major new production of The Nutcracker, featuring choreography by Ty King-Wall, designs by Tracy Grant Lord and Tchaikovsky’s full score. The season will tour nationally, with live orchestra at the St James Theatre in Wellington, the Isaac Theatre Royal in Christchurch and The Civic in Auckland. Brent Stewart will serve as Assistant Conductor for the production and will conduct selected performances throughout the tour.
